The QV-500 is a portable vein imaging device. It projects a real-time map of subcutaneous blood vessels onto the skin surface. The ergonomic housing is designed for handheld use; an optional desktop stand or mobile cart is available for different clinical settings.
The device assists in locating veins on patients with various skin tones, body types, or hair coverage. It can also be used to assess superficial varicose veins and avoid closed or branched vessels.
